so i got to google and downloaded the dll from dll-files.com and when i try to paste it to system32 folder it doesnt let me because the file is already in use.
the thing with this dll is that i cant get messages on yahoo messenger and my ie doesnt work.but i use firefox so its no problem here.just with the yahoo messenger.
the error says “The ordinal 169 could not be located in the dynamic link library iertutil.dll”

Hey killaboy. I’m dealing with this issue also…. To replace the files that are in use, you need to either 1) Reboot in Safe Mode and overwrite the files or 2) use a program call Unlocker Assistant. It will bypass the file in use message.

Yeah, it’s a shame IE puts people through so much hell just to remove or modify their so called web browser when in fact the IE browser controls other microsoft window apps..
Try one of the above and see if that will help.. I’m attempting to fix the same problem. I’ll let you know if there is a better mehod later..
