Okay, so I bought the Norton AntiVirus 2009 cd b/c I was thinking that since I got my laptop in 2007 that I would need to update my security on my laptop…
After I bought the cd I tried installing Norton anti-virus 2009 with Spyware and a message popped up very similar to this: You already have Norton Internet Security installed on your computer with better functionality. If you want to install Norton Anti-virus 2009 you must uninstall Norton Internet Security first before download this program.
So here are my questions:
Since I lost the reciept should I give it to my aunt who needs to update her Norton security?
And
How do I find out how much longer I have Norton Internet security?
Please answer asap!
Thanks so much,
Destiny
Okay, so I have just talked to the lady at the store that I bought my item from. The OfficeMax rep. said that I cannot return my item at the store b/c I had opened it and they did not know whether or not it was actually activated. But…she did say that on their website their is a way for customer service to see if your item has been activated by typing in the product key (which I still have). The only problem is that I cannot find this page on the OfficeMax website. I went to customer service and cannot see where I can enter my product key to be able to show that I had not activated my Norton program. Where do I go on the Customer Service page to do this????
BTW, I really do want to return my item and it has not been activated and I want to buy reactivate my Norton Internet Security b/c it was already installed on my computer and it expired 2 months ago!!! yikes! Just some extra details I thought I might add

All norton products are practically malware and will slow down your system, my suggestion use free alternitives to keep your PC safe.
Anti-Virus:
AVG Free
free.grisoft.com
Spyware:
Spy-bot Search and Destroy
safer-networking.org
Firewall:
Comodo Firewall
