      Kaspersky is a very good security software. When updated, it should clean out all the parasites from the box.
      Did you try running it in safe mode? (F8 after PC restart).
      Did you use Control panel for uninstalling the unwanted progs?
      When you right-click on the task bar, is there Task Manager in the context menu? What happens when you choose it?

      You are infected with spyware if:

      * You see too much pop-up advertisements.
      * Your browser has toolbars that you haven't installed.
      * Your homepage has changed (and you can't change it back).
      * Other settings have changed without your permission.
      * Your computer is slow.

      To get rid of spyware and keep your computer clean you can use an antispyware or even more.
      You can download a antispyware software. There are 10 good anti-spywares.

      download killbox .. it is a software where you can delete file even when it is being use by the system.

      An antivirus is different from antispyware … unless your antivirus has a built in antispyware. Be sure that you have both of them.
      goodluck.
