I have spyware problems on my PC?

April 2nd, 2008 · 3 Comments

I was fooled into one of those Msn viruses and after doing full system scans with Kaspersky, Virgin PcGuard and Webroot's Spysweeper I still seem to have a problem. These programs fixed quite a number of my problems but I still seem to have problems with Adware and Common system errors.
Anyone know any sites or programs to help me with these problems?

I also have unexpected crashes with firefox and my web cookies (saved passwords etc) are not there anymore, and will not come back onto my system. My Adware is usually foreign sites either advertising a 'gladiator' type game and also trying to sell me an iPod.

Hope I have provided enough information, Thanks :)

From my experience, if a PC is severely infected, no antivirus, spyware, or rootkit software will remove it entirely.
You may want to do a reformat and reinstall of Windows.
This may seem like a quitters way out, but believe me when I tell you that some of these viruses and trojans get deeply embedded into many places on your computer. Many times the fragments that remain are harmless or can be just a minor irritant when running some programs. But if you want to start fresh, do the reformat and reinstall method. When reformatting, create a separate partition to install windows and keep all of your important files, folders, photos, on thesecond partition. If you ever have to reinstall again you can leave the 2nd partition intact and simply reformat the first.

      How to have clean computer.
Get Firefox and Adblock Plus Firefox add-on.
Now update your virus definitions and scan, if no anti-virus AVG Free will do the job.
Now we want to get rid of all the adware/spyware download Ad-Aware 2007 & SUPERAntispyware and run 1 @ a time.
Now to get rid of cookies history etc CCleaner run and clean.
Now get rid of any temp files left start\run\%temp% some may not remove because still in use.
Now use CCleaner to stop startup items not needed google the startups and you will know to stop or not.
Now defragment with Auslogic Disk Defrag again free will take about 5-10mins compared to Windows hours.
You will now have a fast, clean secure computer.

      Hello,

It sounds like you have downloaded a rogue malware program. It will take a specialized program to remove this infection.

Simply uninstalling the program will probably still leave the computer infected.

A couple of months ago, I accidentally downloaded a program from somewhere that infected my computer with malware.

My malware infection was so bad, I thought that I would have to get a new computer.

It wasn't until I found a website in google that gave honest review of spyware and malware removers that I found AdwareAlert.

I downloaded and registered it, and I couldn't be happier. It removed my malware infection, and also a couple spyware infections I didn't even know I had.

It has kept my computer running fast, and spyware free for a couple of months now. I highly recommend it.

The website I found can be visited below.

      Hope this was helpful,
