      It's just a cookie.

You get them from going to most websites that use advertising. You can block cookies but then some websites won't work, they aren't really that serious ;)

      Easy!

If you are using Internet Explorer for a browser, a simple change of a setting can let you permanently block almost all 3rd party (tracking) cookies. (Much easier then constantly removing them!) Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced > check-mark "Override automatic cookie handling" > Third party cookies > tick "Block" > OK > OK. Leave "Always allow session cookies" checked.

Now run Yahoo Anti-Spy one more time and remove those tracking cookies one last time. Done.

If they keep coming back everytime you go online it's probably because you keep running across them again & again online. You can set your pop-up blocker higher or your security level higher in IE, if you use Internet Explorer (that's in IE-Tools-internet Options-Security). Cookies aren't programs. It's the program on the other end you have to watch out for.
