you dont need both but so long as it is not another anti virus program it does no harm to have two. I have spybot search & destroy .seadaware and superantispyware on mine and go to trendmicro housecall once a month. somtimes one finds somthing the others dont.

i reackon its good to have two and referring to what terrence said as long as it’s not a antivirus program beside another and it’s just an antispyware program it’s OK. I have trend micro and superantispyware on mine and together both do a wonderful job.

I have TM Internet security plus spysweeper and webroot spysweeper. TM said that I should not have both on my pc. Therefore, I took TM off and put TM Antivirus 2009 on (has no firewall) and kept Webroot. I am concerned because I read so many conflicting responses. If I can have my TM Internet security and webroot that is what I would like. I have vista 64 bit with firewall, a router, and window defender.
Will 2 spysweepers ruin the pc? I like both products, TM is good for virus and Webroot is good for spysweeping. If I had to pick between the two could someone tell me which is the better product?
