I installed win XP pro at two different partitions of my comuter. I want to uninstall one. Help please,?

Actually I installed windows XP professional on one partition named C on my computer, but it has space just 9 MB. After use of computer that memory get shorten and I start receving notice of unsufficent memory. While D partition has space 26 MB. I thought to install Win on it. After installing I tried to format C but failed. Now I don’t know how to remove Win from C or D. any one can help me Plz.
