Spy ware and anti Virus scans are clean. What is preventing updates and how can I fix it?
All the computer says is Update Failed. It gives no reason, no error codes, nothing.
It is Windows XP.

if you dont want viruses, install linux!!!
its free and its sexier than winblows and it has no viruses!!!
plus linux has some special desktop effects
check it out and google it
u can even check out the vids on youtube

"Preventing updates" doesn't give us any information to go on. Without knowing exactly what happens when you try to update, we can't help you.
I suggest that, rather than add additional details here, you resubmit the question with more information.
