Is my address a zombie? Is someone using it to send out spam to millions of others? Does that mean they’ve hacked my address, with all the information and access contained in it? How do I fix it? Or is it even possible?

Just delete it without opening. Don’t worry about it. Spammers can change the from field to anything they want.

If you have signed up for a lot of crap then the company that you signed up for can then sell your email address to another company then the company that sell your email address to can then send a lot of spam to you and its impossible for you to fix it. They have not hacked your address or anything. The only way is make another email address and keep that new email address private.

Kixfan has it dead on. Just delete it and if you want to be extra safe, change your password.

1. You emailed yourself when sending a bulk email.
2. The email is similar to yours but in fact isn’t yours.
I suggest you read the spam (if you haven’t already) and see what it says exactly. From there you can decipher whether your hacked or not. Example: If your hacked I highly doubt your going to get spam from yourself on anti-virus products.
I do however suggest you run both virus and anti-virus scans and then change your password.
