The pop ups are gone, but when I use aol and pick up my mail, at the top where you can reply, delete, etc it states WARNING: Possible spyware or adware infection! Click Here to scan your computer for spyware and adware… How can I get rid of this? The spybot search & destroy is not fixing this problem, but has cleaned up some other issues.

you either need a good anti-virus like NOD32 or alot of free spyware removers. 1 free one won't do the job and niether will norton or macafee

It sounds like your computer is still being hacked. If Spybot is freeware, than you only have minimum protection. Most of your freeware doesn't protect against hackers or major viruses. If you are looking for a great anti spy and anti virus software, use AVG. Although AVG does have freeware, better to buy it and get full protection. Leo LaPorte (the Tech Guy) also recommends it.

use superantispyware and update the definition file before using it after u update it run it in safe mode (f8)as soon s system begins to boot

I use a free software, Superantispyware that is light years ahead of any other antispyware. Will find viruses, spyware without any conflict to your own antivirus. Finds what all other miss or unable to delete.
