i know how to get rid of Antivirus 2009 without downloading other programs to get rid of it.?

August 24th, 2008 · 7 Comments

to get rid of antivirus 2009 first you have to uninstall it or go to your “disk clean up”.
*delete the shortcut icon on your screen top.
*go to your start menu and type in antivirus 2009 in your search for files box. it will show the file you are looking for and just right click it to open another box. (JUST make sure you do not delete the file name from your start menu after you have searched it because it is only a shortcut to the file.)
*after right clicking it you will then click on “open file location”.
*once at the location you will right click antivirus 2009 and click delete.
*after it has been deleted it may show up as another file some where else so you will go to your start menu and do the process again until no sign of the file.
*one you are done you now go to you recycle bin and empty it out. just because you have trashed it, it is still in your computer.
*if you have multiple profiles for your computer you have to do the same thing for each one.

no you dont, you havent even touched your registry keys and if you dont know what your doing its better that way. The best option would be to use the 30 trial of unhack me great software and takes maybe a total time of 30 min and your headache is no more, by the way the 30 day trial is the full version

Sorry but that doesnt work, the only way to delet any infection like this is with the Cacls commands. The infection denies the everyone user group delete premissions so you must reprogram your everyone group account to be able to delete. If you dont know how to do this or if you have any more questions or need help on removing infections check out trusted expert http://www.nicklockard.com

first you need to uninstall it, but if you cant do the folowwing
deleting its short cut is useless after all after you do the folowing the shortcut is useless.

you need to open your task manager. then look for the process of the said antivirus and remember it. search the exact process you saw. open its location folder. if you confirmed its location end task the process of the said antivirus. then deletes the folder where the antivirus is installed if the process file location is on c:\windows\?????\
      delete the process only.
