I need a program that will back up all the programs I uninstall. I need to erase my computer and have lost install disks to many of my programs. Please do not recommend a backup program I do not want to back up my system, as it has a virus. I want to uninstall my programs before they become infected and save backup of the files for each program including saving its registry lines, like Norton Uninstall used to do. I spoke to Symantec and none of the programs they offer now have that.
Please recommend a program that will do just that as I had already backed up most of my system already. I just need to backup the programs that I lost the disks to. If mentioning the programs help in any way, I need to save PhotoShop 6, Bryce3D, and Windows Draw. All of them were registered with my name with the companies and installed legitimately. Thanks.
At this point I am not even interested in getting rid of the virus. I borrowed a friend's Norton disk and it looks like whatever the virus wiped out can't be brought back. I lost 25 GB (yes thousands of files were deleted) so recovering has no point. I was hoping to grab Norton Uninstall when I found out that they don't make it anymore. As it is everything is so messed up that I just want to do a reinstall of everything… well its actually my husband's laptop, but I am the techie here.

Have you ran a virus checker.
Ad-aware will find the virus and destroy it.
