When i open up the program to scan, it says “your definitions are 261 days old”. What does this mean? And when i try to check for updates, it says error retreiving update. Does anyone know how to fix this??? thanks

If you are running an old version of Ad-Aware that will happen. They changed how the program interfaces with the definition/update server. Try Ad-Aware 2008.
