i need some help to uninstall windows live messenger?

I'm trying to uninstall it, but It's not showing up in my programs list. It is in the Program files, but there is no "uninstall option"

Windows Live Messenger certainly DOES show up on your add/remove programs list.
Could you possibly be confusing it with Windows Messenger - that is actually a different program, and if I remember correctly I had to go to Windows Components to remove IT.
