I read alllll about it online. And read alll about manually removing it. The Problem… dun dun dunnn…. The files it tells me to delete do not exist… well atleast where the people are saying they should be. One site I went to first was http://www.xp-vista.com/spyware-removal/xp-antivirus-2008-removal-instructions-xp-antivirus-2008 and so you can follow along with me there. The first one to unregister… I followed the steps but it couldn't be done. Second one I followed the steps and again couldn't be done. Third couldn't be done. 4th couldnt be done. These all couldnt be done because files were not there/item was there for me to check/uncheck. I know I have the virus still because I just go the ability to change my background… The name of the file used by the virus, I searched it and it brought up files for like the screen saver (blue page that pops up when you first get it) and other stuff having to do with the virus. And I can't delete some of the files. [will edit and cont.]
So I know if there are still files for the background and screen saver there are probably more files somewhere in my computer. And considering all that crap the website says to remove was not there for me to remove…maybe it is stored somewhere else? I downloaded spybot and that didnt do anything. So Help? Is there a really good software out there? Even if I have to pay for a year subscription? The main part of the virus appears to be gone by the control panel add/remove thing but I KNOW there are still files on my comp. I'm soooo lost.

obviously you DID NOT READ. i already tired manually removing it. you tard. dont answer unless you are giving an answer to my question.
