AVG free like you used , in conjunction with spybot search and destroy. It should fix you right up.

You appear to have malware.
Get adaware, spybot, windows defender. All are free.
Install them.
Run them.
re-boot in safe mode.
run them again, and run ad/remove programs.

If you STOP TYPING LIKE THIS, maybe we can help you. Simply, backup all your important files to an external hard drive, get your OS disk, insert it, and reboot your computer. You will have to reinstall you OS. It's the simplest way to ensure all the viruses and spyware is gone.

If the data on the computer is not important, try to do a system restore.

DO THIS: If you have Vista or XP Do a System Restore For XP do this: Goto Help and Support and on the right side you should see System Restore, click that and select a date before the problem started. For Vista, In the Start Search, type in System Restore and follow the directions. make sure you select a date before the problem started. And after it reboots, everything should be back to normal. Good Luck!

first of all, delete all of your cookies. You can do this through your internet browser. next you need to get a very good spyware and virus protection program. I would suggest that you get webroot if you have xp. Make sure you uninstal your other antispyware/antivirus before installing the new one.
If you want to see for sure if you have spy ware, go to task manager and show all of the prosses from all of the users and if there are more prosses running than you can see then you have spyware.

update AVG, or pay for good protection like NOD32. NOD32 is good.
cookies aren't anything bad! it won't hurt you PC in anyway! cookies are used for remembering your password for a website or something like that. Actually you probably made more then half of them! they don't hurt your PC!
open Task Manager and take a look at what is running that shouldn't be. you might have something like: AIM, The Weather Channel Desktop, and so many other things like that still running and bogging down your PC. but look into getting better Spyware/Virus protection.
Don't get cheap things like Norton or McAfee, there just a bunch of crap, they really don't do anything. Get NOD32!
hope i helped!

If its cookies, then maybe you should try deleting all your cookies in your web browser. Running SpyBot S&D after booting in safe mode has always worked for me.

TRY http://www.eugenepcfix.com My computer was slow because I picked up some spyware, adware, malware somewhere. A pop-up “XP Antivirus 2008” that told me that my computer was infected with a virus. I followed Eugene’s instructions now my PC is running great.

Delete cookies and history etc not worth keeping when you have a problem. Try the Microsoft Malicious Removal Tool from their down loads site section. like others have said if you run spy-ware and virus removal and you still have problems then you may have too many programs running in your start up menu and this will become a memory hog and slow your PC to a crawl/ You might have to shut some start programs down that you don't need! Check out in control panel under add/remove programs.to remove them if you didn't install them and you think the virus did! I wish you the best

OK, this is what you need to do and it will take some time on your part.
First off, let me say, do not reinstall your Windows OS, that is only going to lead to other issues. You only do that as a last resort.
Downloading and scanning with AVG was a good thing. However, I hope that you do not have another anti-virus (AV) software installed on your computer. You can only have one AV installed at a time, they will conflict and neither will work properly, if at all. Now the new AVG Free will pick up some trojan horses and tracking cookies, but it is not meant to be a stand alone anti-spyware software. It is to track down and get rid of viruses, completely different "animals".
Now that you have your AV covered, you will need to cover anti-spyware software. Unlike AV's, you will need more than one. Each scans using a different method and will pick up different things. You will need to download, install, and update all of these softwares, and then scan your computer with all of them. This is going to take a while.
Here they are (all are free and they are all good)…
Spybot Search and Destroy

Adaware 2008

Windows Defender

Like I said, download, install, and update all of their definitions, and then scan your computer with them.
This will get rid of your pop-ups.
Another software that you should have is Spyware Blaster. I am assuming that you are using IE or Firefox as a browser. It is only good at stopping ActiveX based malware, but it is the best out there. Just download, install, update, and enable all of the protection. No scanning is required.

Now this is not a one time deal. In order to keep your computer healthy, you will need to scan with all of these software, at the very least, once a month. Once a week is better. I know it is a pain, but it needs to be done regularly.
Ccleaner, which you already used, is not going to fix your problem but it is a real good general maintenance software that you should continue to use.
Other things to do in order to keep your computer safe.
- Make sure that your Firewall is turned on and updated (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Upgrade to IE7, if you are still using IE6. Firefox is even better. You can have both browsers installed and will have no problems.
There are other things that will make your computer faster, but that is for another time. Contact me should you want the details.
Good Luck!!!!
