so i ran spybot search and destroy about a month or so ago, and this error message popped up. i searched the message on google and it told me i had a trojan virus. but now whenever i run spybot (and i've updated it and made sure it's got the most recent stuff), there's an error when it's checking for trojan viruses. i think it's messed up my spybot, and now my computer won't go into "hibernate" mode anymore! I have it set so that when I close my laptop, it's supposed to hibernate, but for the past week it just keeps running instead!
what does the trojan virus do, and how do i get rid of this thing!?

A trojan and a virus are two different things. Either way, ensure your Windows security suite (not spybot - your proper security software) is up to date and run a full scan. If that doesn't fix it, you need better software:

Spybot search and destroy does not remove viruses only spyware.

you should have used a Trojan condom….joking….i have these discs that reboot my computer back to factory form meaning it wipes out everything in the computer…all your files including the virus…it's like having a brand new computer….you can get the reboot disc by calling your pc manufacture…i.e. if it's HP then call them

download spware terminator and it should remove it
