Should I? And by the way, i accidentally installed Microsoft office 2007 from the internet, and it replaced my office 2003 automatically. Now, i only can use Microsoft Office for 20 times or something. How can I:
1. Get my microsoft office 2003 back? or,…
2. Get microsoft office 2007 forever (not the trial edition)?? Help! Thanks

If your computer came with Windows XP then the chances are it will be to old and to slow to work with Vista. So it’s best to leave it or get a new computer.
To get your Microsoft Office 2003 back you’ll need to insert the Office 2003 CD that you either brought, or came with your computer.
To get Office 2007 forever you will need to buy it, it costs about £120 so it’s not cheap.
If you don’t want to try any of those then you can try a free option, OpenOffice! It’s like Office but it’s not made by Microsoft and it’s free, it uses all the file formats that Office uses (.doc, .xls and .ppt) but it’s free!

I had this problem also, There is no way around it can’t get 2003 back for free you would have to buy it. same goes for 2007. Go to ebay because sometimes they have it cheaper there.

No, no, no!
Vista sucks. It is incompatible with so many things, from programmes to hardware. When the time comes for a new computer, then get Vista and it may be working properly by then!
I think to get Office 2003 back you would need to completely uninstall Office 2007 then find a CD with the 2003 version on - i.e. start from scratch.
You can buy Office 2007 but it’s expensive.
Personally I use the free OpenOffice software - it does exactly the same things as Office, but it’s free to download, also you can choose how you want to save things (e.g. as an OpenOffice document, as Word 2003, as Word 2007, etc).

You willbe able to get the ‘03 version back by recovery. Go to the file location. right click it, properties then previous version. Vista IS a RAM and graphics intense program. Therefore if you don’t have aleast 2 gigs of RAM and halfway decent video card you will not like the performance of Vista without these two factors. I have Vista Ultimate and LOVE IT! It’s alot more advanced and you can really personalize it to your liking. Go to a store and mess around with a display model, talk to a tech guy.

I agree with tracdoor, go for Open Office. It’s an open source software that works the same as windows and you can get it here http://www.openoffice.org/
Secondly, in my opinion I’d stay with XP and well away from Vista which will be replaced next year anyway [1 year ahead of schedule] http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/news/2174703/vista-replacement-scheduled
Hope this helps.

Change to Vista.
Uninstall Office 2007.Place the Office 2003 disk and click repair.
Buy it or download the hacked/warez version (I wouldn’t recommend it)
