I used Windows-XP-pro-Sp1 to partition and format my harddisk for a ASUS Z63 Laptop, and I can not boot it up?

July 13th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I did partition and formated my HDisk drive (80GB) to C:,D:and E:local drives, I used CD windows-XP-Pro-SP1, then during the window running the setup, My Laptop(ASUS model Z6300) can't Boot-up again. It only shows a blank screen. Then when I press F8 twice to go to Advance Boot option, and then tried with all option each one at a time, they did not work…It always comeback to the Windows XP-Pro-setup screen and then can't Boot-up the PC.
Please give me some glue if you know how to fix it. Thanks All
I have been tried to use CD windows-XP-pro-sp1(and other WD-XP CD) to re-boot my Laptop manytimes, but it doesn't work, It only showed a blank screen after BIOS running and display the "ASUS logo"…If I reboot and press F8 it happened the same, and I reboot the PC then press F12 to boot from CD it still did not work , samething happened only appear a blank screen. Thanks about your advice anyway.
Happy holidays

try the whole partition and restore again.

If you formatted the hard drive, that means that you erased the OS that was previously on it. Use the startup disc to install XP on it.
