When I forward mail it gives me the blue "remove" script for the attachment. I don't want it removed. That's why I'm forwarding it.
I can't recall setting it. Worse I can't see how to revoke it.

Turn Norton off while you send the message

Norton is a pain in the ass, in my opinion.
You could either:
a) Set it to allow ports 25 and 143. (see link below on how to do this.)
or
b) Turn off Norton.

ok just so u know Norton is horrible
it messes with everything my advice is to get something different
trust me i know alot of stuff about computers and have taken classs so i know what im talking about
