I want to buy a mac pro 2.8 ghz quad core for video editing but i have a new sony handycam hdd (HDR-SR1) the only output to send hd video is the 2.0 USB out .. The camera also has a a/v and hdmi out for the tv..but thats it no fire wire. Does apple use USB 2.0 and if not how do i hook my new sony cam to my new MAC Pro?

The Mac Pro has seven USB 2.0 ports. Two on the front, three on the back and two on the keyboard. You should have no problems at all.
