Okay I want to uninstall IE from my PC. However I downloaded things I want on my PC such as AVG, Spybot, Mozilla..etc.. using IE. My question here is..If i uninstall IE will these programs still work? Not really worried about AVG, SPYbot etc because those can be redownloaded using Mozilla. Im concerned that Mozilla wont work then BAM not internet browsing at all!! So, please answer..thanks!

You should be able to find an answer there, login is quick (well at least when I did) but they should all work but you are going to have to reconfigure it to run as default to your current browser…or the one you will be using

You can't uninstall IE. You can make it disappear from the Start Menu and your desktop by going to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Un-check Internet Explorer > OK
Previously downloaded apps will continue to work fine.

yep they will work. you may have dnloaded them with IE but they have no connection with IE. Back then, even if u were left with no browser, you could dnload IE somewhere else and install it at ur pc. But maybe you can't uninstall it, i dunno cuz i haven't done it before, and I use firefox.

Yeah i wouldn't uninstall because as you mentioned if mozzila had something wrong with it you wouldn't have a browser so i would just keep ie

BomTrue is right, it's impossible to COMPLETELY uninstall IE. It's a systematic program that helps to run Windows. You can delete all access to it, but it will still be in your system, technically.
IE also has nothing to do with other browsers that you may download. So downloading a browser and then choosing to delete another isn't going to cause any detremental effects.
