I was told I may have a dll file that is infected with a virus. Do you know a free way to get rid of them.?

  Hello,

  It sounds like you have downloaded a rogue malware program. It will take a specialized program to remove this infection.

  Simply uninstalling the program will probably still leave the computer infected.

  A couple of months ago, I accidentally downloaded a program from somewhere that infected my computer with malware.

  My malware infection was so bad, I thought that I would have to get a new computer.

  It wasn't until I found a website in google that gave honest review of spyware and malware removers that I found AdwareAlert.

  I downloaded and registered it, and I couldn't be happier. It removed my malware infection, and also a couple spyware infections I didn't even know I had.

  It has kept my computer running fast, and spyware free for a couple of months now. I highly recommend it.

  If your computer is froze up and won't let you download and use anti virus programs?
  1. I just come across a site that has a portable security app called ClamWin Portable that is free! Just download it on another computer and choose (save)and put it on a USB memory stick,then choose run and update it while it's still stuck in the good computer! Then connect it to the infected computers USB port and choose run and/or begin scan and let it do it's thing? When it's done delete all entity's it finds? Now go back to plan A and finish killing your bug!

  2.Avira just put out a free rescue CD that you can download and burn on another computer.All you have to do is stick it in the infected computers drive,reboot and follow the directions? (Note)if it says burner not compatible save the file as an ISO and burn it with an ISO burner like Magic ISO? After it loads up hit the space bar when asked and then hit the English flag to change to English and hit start scan.Now go back to plan A and finish killing your bug!

  Download and use CCleaner its a great program and it's also free! (Note) In CCleaner go in "Tools" and you have easy access to the start up menu!

  If plan A,B or C didn't solve your problem than you need to backup all your personal files,drivers and programs and do a fresh install of your operating system and that's another story and shouldn't be attempted by a novice? )~;
