Social Security pisses me off. I’m paying into it with every check I earn. In theory I’m suppose to get that money back at some point. Right. Thanks to over eager spenders in Washington I won’t ever see a dime of it. I know this. Hell, we all know this. So why am I still paying for it? Its money taken from my check that I will never see. And now liberals want to take my 401k away to. Gee thanks. Way to look out for the middle class.
To anyone who votes for Obama, good job.

If you have a large enough income to make your social security taxable, you have a larger income that the low wage workers who are paying a payroll tax that provides the money for your social security check.

It’s true Obama voted against all these initiatives on healthcare and social security. However, this was before the economic downturn.
Mr. Obama and John McCain are going to have to dance to a different tune in the next 4 years no matter who is elected.
Things have to change and change drastically we can’t head down this same path of spend, spend, spend.
Social security is going to be here foreever. To believe otherwise is just plain stupidity on the part of all americans.
With an ever increasing population of retiree’s taxes on income especially higher income bracketed people drawing social security will have to happen.
All the younger folks worry about social security going broke. It’s not going to happen the government will rescue that program just like they rescue every large bank and corporation that comes calling at the treasury.
What bother’s me the most is Obama wants to give access to illegals to the social security system. I say no way.

Since he does not give us thorough details on anything that he is going to do, I can only assume it is because SS is in such bad shape to begin with. To pay more taxes, will allow them to get a little more time out of the system.
For someone that is supposedly cutting taxes, I wish someone would force him to explain it all.
So far he wants to increase ss taxes, add payroll taxes, increase gas tax, capital gains, dividends and I think there is something else I am missing.
On top of that he wants to put our 401K under the control of the Social Security Administration, get rid of company match and give a govt subsidy instead which would all be tied to a bond that would get us 3%. I expect this is tied to the problems with SS so that they can get a little extra that we don’t to add to the SS acts.
