That probably sounds confusing but basically on campus my college uses Cisco Clean Access. So my PS3 obviously can’t run Clean Access and I need to be able to hook it up to run online. My 360 runs online with no connection issues but the PS3 just keeps coming up with errors. I contacted the IT department on campus and gave them my PS3’s MAC address when they asked for it. They told me to try it again and it still doesn’t work. So I really don’t know what else to do, I contacted them again but is there a way I can bypass the registration or something so my PS3 will work? Or is there something I have to do when I set up my network profile?

Check your PS3 settings to see if it has a proxy enabled.
You can also try using Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) by hooking your PS3 to a computer with ICS enabled.
It will not be as fast as a direct connection to a router though.
