dude uninstall it that is malware and get avg ask any one avg is one of the best and its free its not malware don’t trust me look it up

When you buy it you buy a licence for a year or 2 years. You get updates while the licence is valid. Once the licence expires you have to buy it again. This is the same for all anti-virus programs that are not free versions.
By the way Kaspersky 9 (2010) is out now so buy that instead of v7.0
Oh and Kaspersky is not malware, its one of the best Anti-virus apps out there, a lot better than all the free ones.

The answer is no , you have free updates .
These free updates are available for the time of license. Example, if you buy a 1 year license you have 1 year free updates and so on.
