If i buy norton anti-virus 2008 now, do I still get one full-year of coverage?

  Yes you get a full year but i would recommend that you get 2009

  2008 is very slow and 2009 is not it is actually the fastest AV around it uses about 5-10 mb ram

  and there is a new engine in 2009 which has better detection rate

  Yes you’ll still have it for one year, but why get norton a computer hog when you can download AVG that isn’t a hog and you can get if for free.

  Norton 2009 is an improvement over 2008 It runs a lot lighter than 2008. But if you can get a good deal on 2008 buy it. The key is good for one year. If your buy a cd you can download 2009 from norton and enter the key from your Norton 2008 cd. You still get a full year either way you go.
