please help i got a virus from limewire and just had to fix my computer

if its a virus blocker, it wills top virus’s from anywhere, regardless of where it came from….
AS LONG as the virus is known and the virus blocker u have knows about it… if it;s a new virus no one knows about it can get around virus blockers…. but u should be fine with Mcafee, new virus’s arent common and blockers usually compensate pretty quickly…

no. Mcafee and Norton are the two worst antivirus softwares out there. Get something like AVG free version(not trial)

Also stop using limewire even with antivirus it’s a time bomb waiting to destroy your computer.

I dont think so because limewire is always the cause of viruses. It runins your comuter plus its illegal and the fine is real expensive. Your better of using itunes or not even using anything at all. Thats just what I heard though.

pretty much the only way to be safe from viruses on limewire is to get a mac.

I prefer the Defender series of A/V programs, but they are not for the faint of heart. Defender Pro 5-in-1 or 15-in-1 will protect you better than McAfee - but that is my opinion and is to be taken as such.
