I have not downloaded either of them yet, i wanna be completely sure as to what i am getting. And i really don’t want to buy music off itunes because that’s way too much dough. I wanna download at least 700+ songs for my ipod.
With that being said, i heard limewire or frostwire makes your computer a lot slower. So my question is, if i uninstall it would my computer go back to normal or is it messed up for ever?
Another question that i have in mind is, if i have a mac do i really need an antivirus or would i be okay without it? If i do, what anti virus would you recommend for someone that isn’t great with computers lol?
And just for the hell of it, which one would give you the least amount of viruses? Limewire of Frostwire?

If you get rid of all the viruses you picked up using Limewire, then yes, your computer will run fast again.
IF you have a mac running OS10.5+ then no, you currently do not need a virus scanner. There are no viruses in the wild that target that OS. If you are running anything below 10.5, then a virus scanner would not be a bad idea.

1. Your computer will become as it was before if you delete all the songs but if you keep them it could potentially be slower because the songs can have extra things that slow down the computer in them
2. No you dont need antivirus with the mac, it is extremely safe as it omes.

the stuff that you download from them usually takes up alot of space on your computer…lets say you have a large music collection,that takes up a large portion of your disk space

first of all i would like to say Lime wire does not make your computer slow it makes your Internet connection slow by hogging the bandwidth. so uninstalling them will not make your computer faster however will make your internet faster.
its the viruses that comes with the files you download with limewire that causes your computer slow. use good antivirus like avast and a good firewall like zone alarm.
as far as mac computer is concerned well buddy i have no experience with it however as far as my knowledge goes i don’t think you need one.

omg, obviously you need more ram, you can get it at the stores, but instead i would suggest that you get " windows vista" it will get rid of viruses on your computer, don’t delete anything until you get windows vista,
believe me , it saved my computer, and i was so close to destroying my computer, because of all the stuff on it

your computer will not run slow when you are using limewire not unless you downloaded some virus that you dont know..so i reckon its fine to use limewire but make sure you have an updated anti-virus on your computer…good luck
