I’m having the same problems with the redirection. I can’t download ANYTHING, though, so the suggestions for Malwarebytes or anything else doesn’t work for me. When I can actually get to a website and click the link to download I get the “internet explorer cannot open webpage” or an error box that says either “filename.exe is not a valid win 32 application” or “Setup files are corrupted. Please obtain new copy of program”. I have tried to e-mail the programs myself from a different computer and I’ve tried renaming the files when I save them to my desktop, in attempt to avoid detection by the virus. I can’t wipe out my computer and restore because I have no original software. Any ideas?

Try downloading Malwarebytes onto a USB memory card using another computer and run it from there.

You can run Bitdefender’s free online scan which doesn’t need to be downloaded http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
If you know when you got the virus, you can do a system restore to a time before the virus was on your system. This article tells you how to run it from safe mode http://bertk.mvps.org/html/safemode.html
Your best protection in general is a complete internet security suite such as Bitdefender or Norton internet security 2008.
You can also go to another computer and download Bitdefender bootable cd software that will boot off of the cd so that trojan can’t take effect and the antivirus software on the cd can be run to remove the trojan.
