Ok, so I’ll tape some videos now and then, publish it on Movie Maker, then put it on Youtube. But I’ve been wanting to music on them. So I’ll go to iTunes on my computer, click on the band folder, then the album folder, but then I don’t see any mp3 tracks at all. What’s the deal with me not seeing them and therefore being unable to import them to Movie Maker?
I don't know how to reply so…
Jorge- What about songs that are from an album you own? I know ones you buy from iTunes are rights protected… but songs from discs you've imported arn't protected right?
pappy- What format are iTunes songs then?

hey there, i had the exact same question as yours. heres the site i found:
http://www.tuneclone.com/how-to-import-m4p-windows-movie-maker.html
you can also put all the songs you want in your movie into one playlist, then burn the list onto a blank cd. when its done, pop the cd into the computer and open your movie. there should be a link to import songs from the cd into the vid
hope this helps!

As I know iTunes purchased M4P files have DRM protection which prevent users from playing or editing iTunes media with other incompatible players such as Windows movie maker, Zune, Creative Zen, etc.
So, you will need a DRM converter to remove the protection as below:
First, find the iTunes music files in > “My Document” > “My music” > “iTunes”.
Second, find a DRM converter to remove the DRM protection. (of cause iTunes won’t do it for you).
And here I found a DRM converter which can convert protected media files to any unprotected files with good quality and high conversion speed.
You can free download it to have a try:
http://www.wmatomp3-converter.com/digital-media-converter-pro.html
It can remove iTunes DRM (M4P, M4V, M4A, M4B) and Windows Media DRM (WMV, WMA). And also perform all types of standard conversion including video to video, video to audio, and audio to audio (WMA, WMV, MP3, M4A,FLV, RMVB, MOV ect), EVEN high-definition video (M2TS, TP, TRP, TS, AVI), then you can play them with different players such as iPod, PSP, Zune, Creative Zen, Archos, etc.
