In mozilla firefox 3, i cant open my bookmarks in a new window. is there a way around it?

September 6th, 2008 · 3 Comments

in previous versions of firefox, i can open all my bookmarks in a new windows. but now (firefox 3) only open in new tabs are there. i hope i can open it in a new window.
- yes, right click or shift +left click can open a bookmark in a new window, but i want to open it all in one command. i have 80 bookmark sites, if i right click or shift+left click it one by one it is just too much troublesome. Opening it in one window with 80 tabs is just impossible for my pc to handle. a new window just like the previous version can do is what i need in firefox 3. do you guys know it? it is much appreciated. :)

Sounds like a FF3 bug. Make sure you have the installer, then uninstall and reinstall FF3 (make sure you backup your bookmarks and extensions first).

Why not? Just right click your bookmarks on the bookmark toolbar there is an option to open in new window.

      Though I always prefer tabs.
