I used to have dial up and over the many years I had dial up ive tried a viriaty of security anti virus suits from mcafee to avast to panda to trend micro. ( and no i never ran more than one antivirus at one time. and i always made sure an antivirus was 100 percent completely uninstalled before puting another one on ! ) with that being said after switching to suddenlink Internet thats cable internet through a cable internet for those who do not know that …….. I can now no longer use any antivirus doesnt matter what the antivirus secruity suite is wether its panda, trend, avg, mcafee, norton, avast,ca, doesnt matter the brand. since switching to cable internet any security suit i install will slow my computer down 10 fold and freeze computer up and some times will make the internet pages not display properly. any clue as to what the hecs going on ?????

Some internet providers have their own Anti-Virus built in with the service,so if your trying to run another they maybe conflicting with each other.
