The Internet Antivirus just automatically popped out in my desktop and scanned my computer and found several threats. I am afraid that this might be a virus.
How can i delete this program(Internet Antivirus)?
I cant even stop the program from working.
please help me!

Remove "Antivirus 2009" virus/trojan
'Antivirus 2009 (or 2008, or Antivirus XP 2009 -or other names- there are many clones of this rogue software)' is a piece of malware that infects your computer and constantly pops up notices that you have an infection and you have to buy or update Antivirus 2009. This is a scam to trick you into paying $30 for some useless software. The malware installed when you downloaded something from the web, sometimes masquerading as a video codec or other useful software. It is persistent, and infects a number of Windows files.

You may have to download the removal tools on another computer, and burn them to CD or copy them to a USB Memory stick.
Try running the cleaner programs in Safe Mode (hit the F8 function key as the machine boots up, and choose Safe mode)

No need to be afraid, it IS a virus! The good news is that all those “viruses” it finds are fake. The bad news is that thing is a virus and hard to get rid of.
