My internet explorer keeps freezing and closing ALL pages whenever i close just ONE web page or try and download a file and the download icon pops up. Help, what should I do? The Internet Connection's not at fault- it's working fine otherwise….

there has been lots of problems regarding service,internet explorer has suffered there doesnt seem to be any given answer,what works for one wont for another,you could try and refresh your page,or try and re load with a different browser,mozilla firefox perhaps,hopefully all services will resume i wish you well,peAce.

Your Internet Explorer could be corrupted. If you are using the new IE7( e with yellow ring) go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced (Tab)> reset (button at the bottom). Follw the prompts and then pull up new IE.

A program running on the background could also be the cause. Click Start>Run>type msconfig hit ok>system configuration window will come up>click on startup tab( at the top)> click disable all button> hit apply then close > restart.
