internet explorer says my add-ons are disabled. they arn't.. ever single one is enabled! how do i fix this?

I have gone to tools- manage add ons- and enabled each and everyone one of them. my add-ons ARE enabled but my computer won't regonize it. I can't veiw videos, and it doesn't recognize or let me update my flash player. I've tried everything and could really use some help on this one! Thank you!

      go to "internet options", then to "security" tab. Put the security level slider to the middle, and click on "Default Level". Click "OK" and restart your internet explorer and see if that solved the problem.
