Alright. I am currently using IE7 because EVERYTIME I download Firefox, it is always slow and it freezes (not responding) most of the time and then I have to "restart" my browser.
I have a new laptop with plenty of kick-ass so the computer isn't the reason that firefox goes slow. IE7 is lightning fast on my computer, but I cannot open ANY kind of link outside the browser. When someone sends me a link in e-mail, I cannot click on it and when someone is talking to me on a messenger program, I cannot click on a link either.
Could anyone tell me what my best option is? I want to use Firefox but is there any way that it can't go so slow and ALWAYS mess up?
I definitely checked and it is compatible for Windows Vista (came with computer) but for some reason it doesn't want to work. It works fine on my mom's computer and she has Windows XP SP2.
Any ideas, thanks.
I am trying Safari now. I like it so far! Thanks.

Get Firefox 3 RC1. It is available on the site now. It is much faster at rendering java pages than FF2 or any iteration of IE.

don't know. Vista is pretty quirky. I've got Vista Premium Home and firefox works fine. Much faster than IE. There is, however, a browser even faster than Firefox. Try Apple's Safari. It's a winner.

Very difficult to offer a proper reply.
I have tried all the known web browsers such as Firefox, opera, safari, Maxthron, Flock & Netscape Navigator.
Each has its own features.
I find that Netscape Navigator & flock are working fine with me apart from IE7.
