I'm currently running Windows Vista on my laptop. On my administrator account I cant launch the internet explorer browser, but if i switch to the other account, it opens no problem. I need to be able to access my files aswell as the internet. How can I fix this problem?
I went into task manager and clicked on internet explorer and hit 'end processes' now whenever i go on, there's nothing on the screen. no tool bar no documents, the wallpaper won't even show up.. please, what am i supposed to do to fix this?

I could be that when you closed internet explorer, the process didn't actually end. (not your fault, it can happen) This is not a big deal.
Try:
1.Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete on the keyboard
2.Then click on processes
3. Click on the "image name" tab on the right
4. Scroll and look for iexplorer.exe
5. Click on it then click end process
6. Click ok then try opening internet explorer again
Good Luck!

Try removing the program and re-install it- the cause could be a corrupted registry file or something like that

Use System Restore from Start Menu .
select the date on which your system had opened Internet Explorer without any problem.
choose that date and restore your current system to that date.
give a try …
