My friends internet explorer won't work. He is on msn and it works fine but when trying webpages it says
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
But he is connected to the internet coz he's talking to me. and all sites don't work, not just one website. any ideas??

web site encountering problems sounds like the culprit. how ever his firewall antivirus could be blocking the site also if he has a third party firewall he might try lowering the settings

He can try to install it again, i recommend ie explorer…

Most likely it's either an issue with his firewall or IE has somehow become corrupted. Have him install Firefox or any other web browser and see if it works. If he can view web pages on another browser, then the problem is limited to IE and he should reinstall it (or just switch to a different browser). If he can't get on any web pages whatsoever, then it could be any number of things.

check your net work connection and try other search engine like yahoo or goggle and default proxy set
