I just encountered a problem using my toshiba laptop when i was using firefox. After 20 min. or so of use, when i load a page it takes an exponentially large amount of time. When you finally get fed up and close it out and try to kick it up again, it shows the hour glass when you click on firefox but it doesn't bring it up untill 7 min. later but it won't let you go anywhere. Same with internet explorer. It is not the internet connection because I tried wireless and it was an excellent connection and the ethernet cable way but it happens to both. Its not a virus because I have the Kaspersky Anti virus running (not the trial, the full paid version.) Any Help? Will choose best answer.

Checki network connections you may have competing connections switching back and forth. Remove your connections.
Recreate first the ethernet connection and then confirm successful connecton. Then the wireless connection and created a ssid. Make sure your not hopping another connection unknown to you. Like your neighbor's connection.
Run ccleaner and spybot
run disk cleanup
Go to the temp folder and delete the contains of that file.
Don't delete the folder
Go into safe mode with networking and test onliine connection
