How do I un-register from the college security system so that I can use my router? I will have to rejoin the security system again to use the router, but right now it just tells me that I can’t use my router because I am an already registered client. I already spoke to IT they were no help! Thank you.

If they aren’t helpful, keep at them until they are. While you were waiting, try “spoofing” the mac address on your router to match that of your PC/MAC network card. That may resolve your issue. See the instructions on your router to find out how. Good Luck!
