I’m not sure what internet subscription to get avg, norton or are there any better ones out there?
also witch should i get "internet security" or just "anti virus"

Norton is one of the av systems that does not detect everything and it detection rate is very slow, I DID AN in house test at work and norton took 3 minutes to detect a virus on a thumb stick and Eset smart security 2008 (NOD32) took 1.5 secs
Go with Eset or Kaspersky Internet 2008

Whatever you do don't get Norton. TRUST ME! Kaspersky is excellent. again, TRUST ME! I know this stuff (i.e. not just saying the name of a security program I know)
NOD32 is good to and it's more compact than Kaspersky. However Kaspersky comes with a firewall while NOD32 doesn't. Also I dislike the new interface for NOD32.
For spyware you need a different program which specializes for it.

also you could download ccleaner to keep your computer running well, but that's not a security product, just more of a system utility.

AVG and norton are on the same level neither is better than the other..im using McAfee and it sucks, and its slow at scanning.
