Intrusion prevention in norton 360 2.0 goes off automatically when i open IE8?

i recently downloaded IE8 thinking its the latest version. after i installed it and opened it, a popup appeared saying intrusion prevention is off. then i fixed it. the next tiime i opened ie8 it said the same and i have to manually fix it every time. pls help
also how to restore IE8 to IE7. i tried system restore but that didn't work.

      Betas like to mess with things, Uninstall Norton and get AVG you get less bitching(sorry to offend) from AVG.

      Well at the moment IE8 is just a beta so maybe there is some interference with Norton 360 caused by this beta, maybe you should just wait until the full release considering this is only beta 1, maybe there are some registry entries that collide which makes this error message appear every time, finally, I find Firefox a much better browser but that’s opinion…

      You should leave Norton 360 alone, it’s quite good. IE8 is a beta not the latest version. I suggest you uninstall it and either use Firefox 3 or Opera 9. Or as a last resort IE7.
