My computer keeps slowing down and sometimes crashing every time I try and play Eve Online. I’m getting several error messages and can’t tell what is what. One of the most consistent is _trinity.dll.
I was about to delete _trinity.dll but I can’t tell if that’d be a bad idea? I honestly don’t know what’s up with my system. I don’t know if the local server is infected or if it’s this file I’m seeing (I’m afraid to delete anything when I don’t know what it is) or if it’s something I don’t even think about. Has anybody else had this problem with _trinity.dll or Eve Online?

Whatever you do, I would recommend you don’t delete anything you don’t know about. You are right that serious problems could occur.
I don’t know about Eve Online, but I presume there are files that you need to install to run that game, on your computer… I recommend you uninstall Eve online then reinstall it. That should fix the issue.

: Hi. I’ve had the same problem before with Eve Online and Battlefield 2. They’re both made by Macrovision and they both screw up on occasion.
What usually slows them down is the copy protection. This happened with my computer, even though I had a legit copy (this happens occasionally but not much). My computer kept slowing to a crawl–I have heard of computers actually crashing because of this before!
DON’T delete _trinity.dll . I don’t know exactly what it is, except that it works with Eve Online and it IS important. It may or may not be your problem.
The program I used is RegZooka. It’s a registry cleaner that helped me run my games run again and made my whole computer run faster. You can get a free scan from it; I highly recommend it: http://regzooka.com .
