I want to try itt tech for their criminal justice degree, it says that it involves internet security which is one of my main interests. But it also says I will be able to be a security officer or peace officer. I dont want to drive two hours everyday to become a mall security guard. I want to do real hands on internet security/ investigations etc. Do they really teach you this or is it just the basics that I probably wont get that great of a job with? Thanks

Hi, I am currently attended an ITT Criminal Justice Program and wanted to respond to the person who was inquiring about what it consists of. It does offer classes in cyber crimes, law enforcement, and forensics, however, the majority it towards law enforcement in general. Some security, but not much. If you have really great instructors with good contacts like I do, it shouldn’t be a problem to get the job you want if you get good grades and show interest. It’s not a bad program, but I’ve heard that some states are better than others for ITT.
