It is spyware.

You should download Spybot Search and Destroy, Adaware, and AVG Anti Virus to protect yourself from viruses in the future.
Good Luck

Awola Anti-Spyware 6.0 is a new rogue anti-spyware that can be dangerous for your security and privacy. Awola claims to purchase itself in order to remove reported spyware and adware. But in real Awola produce false positives, it have no spyware detection and removal engine. Awola is a representative of badware family. It can bypass antiviruses and install other spyware to track users activity, save keystrokes and then generate targeted advertisments (pop up's, browser hijackers). Never download Awola, it's useless for spyware removal. If your computer is infected - use removal instructions or Awola remover.

awola infects computers throught web browser vulnerabilities, this means that you have visited some website and it secretly put awola on your computer. sometimes awola can be installed by trojans, so there's a possibility that your computer is infected with something more than just awola.
here's awola removal tutorial: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-awola.html
i also recommend scanning your computer with antispyware to make sure there's no other parasites.

Awola is actually a rogue anti-spyware program.
There are a lot of files that should be removed to stop the popups and remove the Awola program.
There is a process for removing Awola found at http://www.pchubs.com/blogs/awola-removal-process-remove-awola-6-0. it shows you how to restart in safe mode and use the smitfraudfix free program to remove all of the files and clean your registry of the Awola entries.
