is googles sidebar good to have like is it spyware i know i dose something like index your pc for the search?

      Google Sidebar is a reputable software, and can be installed no problem. It is not Spyware.

      However, you must be mindful of the Widgets/Gadgets you install on your sidebar, as they may be Spyware (but there is not a whole lot of "bad" Sidebar Gadgets out there).

      http://widgetfront.com/ has some good widgets, and they are without spyware.
