When I go into my Kaspersky, I see a large green bar that informs me of the scanning progress. That bar seems to be running all the time. If I shut the computer, as soon as I put it on, the bar continues from where it left off. It informs me that it has scanned 879596 files when I shut it, and then it picks up from there when I turn it on. As far as I know, it never stops scanning. Is that normal?
It also tells me it has found one virus but has done nothing about it and has not offered to get rid of it. The information that 1 virus has been found just sits there next to the green bar. I wonder what I’m supposed to do about this virus?
Any help in simple language (as you can tell I’m computer challenged)
would be most appreciated!
