My laptop had alot of infections so I downloaded norton360 after i
installed norton 360 i realized it took forever to scan and also slowed down my computer so i unistalled it. Then i installed Ad-aware 2008 which i did 2 scans and got rid of the infections. But then my computer was runing slow so i got registry mechanic and i already registered. Then i was wondering if i should get spyware doctor. I thought by getting spyware doctor it would be extra protection against infections. But after i installed spyware doctor i realized my computer was
actually running slower so now im wondering if its ok to have adaware 2008, registry mechanic and spyware doctor. Please tell me which system to unistall or a beter system to install. Thx

It is ok to have ad-aware because it works great but the rest you have to remove. I think you should stick to 1 antivirus. I recomend avast or AVG cause I used them and they work fantastic. They come with registry cleanup and they have faster scans than the crappy norton 360. That should make your computer much faster. If it doesnt go any faster, than i know a trick to make it faster. Go to the start menu, then right click my computer and go to properties, and click the advanced tab and then go to performance settings and then advanced and after that click change and set the first to 650 and the second to 1200 and press set.
