Is it ok to use Nod32 Anti virus with norton Internet Security?

I’m a Vista user(Home basic-32bit). I really need protection from hackers and also a good anti virus. Till today I was using Norton Internet Security 2006 but the license expired. I now have Nod32 and wish to buy Norton Internet Security2009. Is it safe to use them both together or will it cause conflicts?
